KATHARINA WRATHER

Transformative life coach

On my own journey of self discovery

Katharina Wrather

I have reinvented myself several times, from working in a corporate marketing job, then running my own fitness business while juggling a marriage and two small children, and finally finding my passion in life coaching.

I’ve made some courageous choices, and it wasn’t always obvious to those around me, but I have struggled time and time again with wanting to be perfect, trying to please others and feeling stressed out.

Over time, I have learned that in order to navigate life’s challenges, the most important thing is self compassion. Life is a journey with its ups and downs and we need to enjoy the ride. But we also need to live in alignment with our true purpose. What is the point of thinking “My life will be better when I’ve completed this project..” or  “Only two more days until the weekend..”

If you have ever said one of those things (yes, me too), then I’d love to challenge your thinking and help you realise that you can live the life that you want to live right now!

“Life is a journey with its ups and downs and we need to enjoy the ride.”

I hold an International Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching and Leadership Development awarded by the Jay Shetty Certification School. With over 250 hours of coaching experience, I am also an accredited Coach by the Association for Coaching (AC), a leading independent, and not-for-profit professional body dedicated to promoting best practice and raising the awareness and standards of coaching worldwide. As part of the regulated coaching industry we abide by the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches and Mentors, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism. I am currently studying to become an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner which I look forward to incorporating into my coaching.

Outside of being a life coach, I have been working in the fitness industry for over a decade. I’m enthusiastic about learning and over time expanded my knowledge in health & wellness, which complements my work as a life coach. I am a passionate barre instructor and hold qualifications to teach Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Additional qualifications include: 3rd Age Woman Peri- to Post Menopause certification, Meditation Teacher Diploma, Diet and Nutritional Advisor Diploma, Level 3 Fitness Instructor, Level 3 Award in Adapting Exercise for Ante and Post Natal Participants.

I also hold a Master of Business Administration from the European Business School Universitaet fuer Wirtschaft und Recht, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, and a Master of Arts in East European Studies from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany.

I grew up in a small town in Germany and always wanted to explore the world. During my studies and work placements, I lived in different countries, including Argentina, Mexico, Russia and the United States. After living in New York for five years working in marketing, I moved to London in 2012 to start my first barre fitness studio. As fate had it, I met my husband Jonathan only three months into it and haven’t looked back.. We now live in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, and have a daughter Lulu and son Otis. In our free time, we love being active and go for walks or play sports together outdoors. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, playing tennis, eating good food, and spending quality time with friends.
